a day of waves

Today was a day of waves;

Early this morning we waved off the kids (thanks for all your best wishes) we know they are going to have a great experience and taking an opportunity that is best enjoyed at their age. Best we don't dwell on our emotions too much though.

The next wave was that on the River Derwent as the water thunders down it at the moment.

By the way Dan left us a reminder of his usual self, his room looks like a bomb has hit it. I am sure it will be showroom like by the time they come back in a year within a week.
