Why Do Cats Yawn?
Answer:
Cats yawn for just about the same reasons as humans do. A cat is more dramatic when it yawns because its mouth can open wider. Yawning is a part of a cats wake up routine. Cats yawn when they are transitioning between sleep and being alert. Cats may yawn to cool down after activity. Sometimes cats yawn to peacefully end a stand off with another cat or they may yawn to show dominance. Cats do not yawn when they are bored.
