Sydney Harbour Bridge...

Ritchie & Nic were working today from 0630 til 1500 so we went into Sydney to have a look about. The train in took ages.

We got into Circular Quay where the Harbour Bridge and Opera House are. Took photos of the bridge them used a harbour ferry to in across the harbour and back to see the Opera House from the front. The ferry from Circular Quay to Neutral Bay and back.

After the ferry, we took a walk along to see the Opera House up close. Found a posh aboriginal shop where we could buy a didj' for $1800. We bought some wicked tea tree coasters.

Left the centre to try and find Olympic Park where the Sydney2000 olypics were. Had a bit of a mix up with the trains but got there eventually. Went to a new homes of the future expo. The company Ritchie and Nic work for did tinted glass for one of them.

At night we ate at "Danny on Highs" (Italian restaurant that reminded me of the Marr Cafe in Alloa.) Had dinner with Ritchie and Nic and their friends, Gordon and ?.

Went to the RSL (Return Service League) after dinner. Cheap drink, cheesey band and pokies. Met more of Ritchie and Nic's friends. The girl with the black and bleached hair, Astrid and some others. Made paper airplanes and stuff.

On the way out, saw some geezer beating up his wife(girlfriend) until the bouncers intervened. Was freaky but didn't distract from a really good night.
