Big changes for me....

This is not the most exciting photo I know but as this is a photo journal I felt it only right to mark today.

I have smoked for many years and tried, unsuccessfully to quit on a few occasions. Last week whilst in North Wales I started chatting to a man who is 60 years young. We randomly had a chat whilst I was smoking and he told me he used to smoke 40 a day up until a year ago. I asked what made him quit, he said he was just sick of it and had enough. He hasn't touched one cigarette since!!!!

I had been thinking about quitting for a while and after speaking with this chap it was the kick I needed.

Today is my quit date and I have successfully made it through today without lighting up, just had my electronic ciggy on standby. It's never an easy journey but I am proud of myself for getting through today even thought it was quite a testing one!

Day one = success.
