Nasty cough...
Eva slept through again. I got myself up, showered and ready for work, then went in to get Eva sorted. We were both all ready by before 8am, so there was plenty of time to have extra cuddles and milk before going downstairs. Eva sat playing with her toys for 5 minutes while I got her bag ready, and picked up her Dear Zoo book, so I quickly read that to her too, and she lifted up the flaps to see the animals underneath, before we headed off for nursery.
Even though she hadn't been since last Wednesday, she went to Debbie at nursery good as gold, didn't cry once. I got Iggle Piggle out of her bag for her to hold, and Debbie took her off to go and get some toast for breakfast, as I left.
I arrived to fetch her just before 6pm. She was actually sat on her own in the sensory ball area with her back to me as I walked in, so she didn't see me and I could watch her playing with the balls and chattering away. It was lovely to see that she was secure and happy enough to sit there like that playing, considering she has not wanted to be put down that much over her first few weeks there. Debbie had already gone home, so Mandy talked me through her day.

And she got a 'well done' sticker on her page :-)
Today's pic was taken as I was finishing off tea (shepherds pie), and Eva was smiling and waving at her daddy through the patio doors, as he was out in the back garden with Thor and doing the litter trays.
Eva had sooooo much milk before settling down tonight. Every time I tried to put her in her cot, she'd cry for more milk (although it was probably the extra Mommy cuddles she really wanted).
Poor baby girl has been cough, cough coughing in bed all evening. It has woken her up a few times, but she has managed to settle herself back off to sleep. I also have the cough, so know first hand how tickly and annoying it is. Just when you get rid of one thing, something else starts. Hope babba girl sleeps well, despite the awful cough xxx
