Goodbye Oregon

Another driving day with a dog that behaves like a perfect angel in the car, no kidding!

It was the first and only overcast day since we left last week and the trip showed many beautiful mountain ranges with low hanging clouds or fog banks in between. Very beautiful. But as the trip is long, there was no stopping except for this time early in the morning when I saw a glimpse of the sun coming up. Other than that the day was uneventful and even relaxing, with hardly any traffic except for the freeway. We listened to books on tape which kept us busy.

A big thank you to you all! Both Maggie and the one legged seagull made the spotlight for several hours… thanks to all your comments, stars and hearts! I will visit your journals tonight after dinner.
