Sitting Large
Too grey and miserable to go outside today (that's the weather, not me ... though I don't know ... )
So staring through a window at the leaves being blown around seems a good alternative.
I should come clean in case you didn't guess ... the dog is fake. Shortly after we had Liz's old dog put down we spotted a couple of these in a furniture shop window, on sale. Liz sat with this one on her lap all the way home with a big grin on her face.
And if you're wondering about the Blip title, he had a label which read: Old English, Sitting Large.
The other one was Old English, Lying Large.
So of course Sitting Large was his name from then on. He's a faithful old thing who keeps the spare bedroom door closed as it tends to swing open. He's been doing that for fifteen years and never complains.
