January Challenge - Sour
Day 27 of DDW's January daily challenge - Sour
One thing that I try to do each year when on my annual trip to Amsterdam is to stock up on Lemon Tea tea bags. These are produced by Twinings and Liptons, 2 good British tea packagers, but extremely difficult to get hold of in the UK, other than in very expensive tourist trap shops. They're on the supermarket shelves in Europe, and in every hotel breakfast area, so a couple of stops at supermarkets is always called for.
I like the occasional cup of lemon tea, never enough to justify keeping lemons "in stock", but it is a refreshing drink and especially welcome when hitting the Lemsips as I did last week. So these tea bags with proper tea and a hint of lemon are ideal. Lemon's are of course sour, to hit the theme.
