The ponds near my house are not deep enough anymore, The really big carps who live there don't mind about that but the local government does.
So this is a special thing (a kind of dredger) that floats and can adjust in such a way that the frontside point down.
At that point plates with wire mesh are fitted, and as it moves forward it shoves the mud to the side of the pond where a crane takes it out.
