Getting ready for school

Last day of the holidays.

We were hiding in one room with an air conditioner, it was 43C outside, 34C in the kitchen.
What to do?
E practised his time tables as a last gasp attempt before high school starts this week.
A made spectacular Lego structures.

C mooched before organising the other 2 to do racing on the PS3.

I ironed countless name tags on 2 sets of school uniform.
Eventually, I gave up and took them to the cinema and a pancake dinner in air conditioned splendour.

We saw 'Saving Mr Banks', which was really quite a joy to watch.
