The State Visit...

Today the President of India came to Windsor. We went to see the parade. We saw marching soldiers & the bands. We were handed Union Jack flags & flags of India to wave. We watched the soldiers march down towards where the Queen was meeting her. Some time later the horses all came galloping by (well it was pretty fast) and then I realised the carriage going by had the Queen in it. Was too fast to point out who was in it to the children. It was followed by Prince Phillip & the President's husband. Then Charles & Camilla. All too fast to photo! It was a fun way to spend a few hours....



This Blip is of the Household Cavalry on their way down to meet the Queen. You'll see it was pretty empty across the road, it was heaving our side but they closed the road so we couldn't cross. Doh. Children complained about the smell of horse poo....
