Had lunch at the Sydney Rowing Club today overlooking the Parramatta River. Almost posted a blip of the scene except that it all seemed a bit prosaic somehow. It's been nice and cool up here at Blackheath but coming home on the M4 we felt the sun beating down on the traffic. If the temperatures are allowed to build up over a few days, conditions in the basin can get pretty uncomfortable. I have tried to suggest heat, grime and oppression in this interpretation of what I shot through the windscreen. People should NEVER start telling me I've been "artistic", like they kindly did yesterday. It just encourages me and then I get quite out of hand ... oh dear.
