..a different mood..
..damp, misty and drizzle first thing today.. Stayed inside sorting out wages, and tax, and National Insurance for our development officer who has now reached pensionable age. The HMRC software said I had to change his NI contribution letter, so not being too sure, made a phone call to HMRC. Quickly answered at the second attempt and problems sorted.
Weather brightened up, so went down the croft and dug some carrots and parsnips, and picked brussels. That's about all we have now until things are planted up. Tanni had a good run on the beach, and swim in the sea, before going onto Neil's park by the cemetery for a "chase the ball" to dry out run..
Now it's really brightened up, the sun's shining, the crofts are glowing, while the snow covered mountains remain moodily dark with clouds above..
I like these days..
Have a brew to bottle, and then back to pointing in the shed.
Yesterday I moved all the junk, and cut out the old joists. Removed and replaced a lintel above a cupboard in the corner, and repaired the stonework above.. Soon have those trains running!!..
