A Grey Day

Today I visited a work friend who is facing a third battle with cancer. This time the long term prognosis is not good. She faces six months of chemo to help control but unfortunately not cure.

My friend is someone I only met a couple of years ago but I've found her inspirational from day one. She's taught me to appreciate the simple things life has to offer, to live in the moment rather than hurry through to the next thing, and to find the humour in whatever situation you are facing into.

On the way home I took time to have 5 mins at longniddry bents. My favourite spot just to enjoy the moment and the view. Felt my rainy windscreen impacting the glorious view summed up my day.
