Perk of the job

Look what turned up this morning. My welcome baby gift from work! It's got lots of lovely bits in. Little man is going to look really posh!

On the whole we have had a much better day today. I think I put way to much pressure on myself yesterday to be a super mum and on P to be more independent than she is ready for. Today we just went with the flow. We missed music class but Nana is going to take P tomorrow instead so she doesn't miss out.

We did get out for a walk when we saw a break in the clouds. We ended up reenacting scenes from P's favourite book - we are going on a bear hunt. We went through the swishy swashy grass and the splishy splashy river and found a bear in a cave under the slide at the park!
