Rain rain go away

Spent most of the day walking ditches and dykes clearing blockages to increase the flow as much as possible. We should, I know, be grateful that we are still on the whole above water unlike some other parts of the country.
The other irony to day was the drilling team doing or borehole want to leave a pump running water from the bore for an unspecified time to clear the base of the well of sediment, the adjacent dyke can't clear the water fast enough!
Just liked the way the water droplets gave the hedge a sparkle on such a grey day!
