Pier by Night

This is Penarth Pier. It has a gorgeous art deco pavilion which is sadly disintegrating but the pier is perfect for a casual stroll with a cone of chips in your hand.

I went with a friend to play about under the pier with the flashgun, but I forgot my coloured gels which would have made a difference to the shots. So it was a good experiment, one to come back to again.

I liked this shot of the pier, spot metered on the huts and camera on the tripod.
It's been a good day.
