Angel from another world

This angel, and many other art works by Harald Boström, are on display in our local museum at the moment. They were all created by him during the 40 years he spent in Härnösand's mental hospital after developing schizophrenia.
The world of large mental institutions, in which he created these figures, has gone. Even the figures all have an other-worldly feel to them. What is that angel thinking?
