The fortress wall

I had taken many photos today but I kept coming back to this one. I love the colour of the sandstone blocks, and with the sunlight shining on them you can really see the variety of colour. I also like the wear on the stone around the gun ports. You can just imagine the years and years of wind and rain that have pummelled this wall.
