It's been a long day ...

After a poor night's sleep, I was up extra early today because our shower has broken and I had a bath before going to work. A bath doesn't wake me up the same!

Got everything ready in the slow cooker before I left, and asked my daughter to turn it on before she went to school. Lovely Chicken Provencal for tea. When I walked in the house I could tell from the absence of cooking aroma - she had forgotten to switch the slow cooker on! Ooops!

It has seemed like a very, very long day and I am really ready for my bed. Goodnight all.
