Hearts of Oak

Photograph of an Oak tree having totally shed its autumn coat. Taken at Taton Hall, one of my first mono shots for the winter season.

I tend to use mono in winter as it shows off natures wonders in what I believe is greater depth without having to manipulate images

I was told that the natural hole is a vast natural habitat used by a multitude of life dependant on the season.
