scraped myself in to work in the old place and woke up once i'd arrived. swam a bit.

went to book group. delighted to see shanghai madge over for a visit. mildly frustrated by not having more chance to talk about the book. rather more frustrated by my hearing - being in a group when there are two conversations going on is hard because the hearing aid stops me from being able to filter out the things i dont want to hear.
