Pukka tiles .... pretty design

Sitting through fairly sticky meeting this afternoon I took refuge in considering the pretty fireplace in the corner. Although part of LCC now, this building used to be a Victorian Railway Hotel. I guess this was a guest bedroom.

I'm wondering if the tiles were by the Lancaster firm of Shrigley &Hunt ... mainly stained glass works but also hand painted tiles ... from the 1870s onwards. Looking more closely afterwards these aren't hand painted ....
