Sketchbook Stuff

I managed to do a little bit of work alongside my students today, partly as demonstrations but also to itch a scratch that I had over some ideas. I then managed a decent studio session tonight.

Regarding the Sun, I have not seen it today for myself but the large sunspot group from a fortnight ago is now beginning to reappear around the limb and has generated five M class flares since yesterday. It was designated AR1944 but as it emerges again it has been designated AR1967. Information from the Space Weather site.
