Florida

Ummm, that's snow and ice. That's not meant to happen in Florida. No seriously, it's not!

The south is not geared for this weather in the slightest and they are calling it "once in a generation" weather. Already all the local bridges are closed so no one is heading on or off the barrier islands, I-10 the local interstate is pretty much closed (doesn't help that it's bridge is closed either), and so forth.

I think pretty much everything in the county is closed tomorrow, from schools to airbases. And I'm expecting a rush on the shops tomorrow.

Last time we had the threat of snow (let alone snow) was about 3-4 years ago and there was literally a local panic - people went bulk buying in Walmart like it was the apocalypse. It was the strangest thing you've seen.

Should be back to 20C by the weekend though. lol.
