Happy Birthday!

Me and Jen built the batmobile that was a christmas present from her to me in 2012. It has sat around as things have not been very good for us but as they are improving it seemed time to dust this off and build it together. Jen was quite excited by the whole process it being her first time with a big lego kit, and wearing a polar bear onsie helped the air of childishness. About two hours in total to build the whole lot.

After working on the magazine for most of the day I finished up around 5 and had the most amazing italian meal. Veal with a sauce that Jen found a recipe for that used saffron, cream, mushrooms and peas. Delicious but I cannot remember what the heck it was called.

Watched Despicable Me 2 later on with giant bowls of ice cream and parmesan and black pepper popcorn.
