Sisters

Christina, my # 3 daughter created the fairy like bust of herself in High School Ceramics class nineteen years ago. Ten years later, when my 4th daughter, Rachel was in ceramics class she wanted to do a bust like her big sister (hence the pointy ears) Rachel is tiny because, as many of you know, she has Down Syndrome. But she made her bust much bigger than her sister's. So, with both of them sitting in my window it looks as though she is looking after her sister and kind of protecting her. I like to think of that because for over half of every year she lives with that sister who loves her so much. They are very close and they look after each other.

I am very lucky.
