A boring shot....

...I know, but I've had lots of requests for a photo of the colour that we chose to paint the house. So this is it. The lighter colour is the main colour, while the darker one is around the base. It looks really nice and has certainly given the house a new lease of life. The painters finished up today, and what a really fantastic job they did. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Son T went kayaking down the Buller River this evening. The past few days have been wonderfully warm - apparently the water wasn't a bad temperature either. If the long range forecast continues to be good, we are looking at cutting our hay on Saturday. Fingers crossed the sun keeps shining.
