Elsie

Elsie's dreads are still holding up, just about. Its a fortnight today since she got them in, a few have fallen out round the back where her hair is shortest, but she's determined to keep them in as long as she can. Not like her wimpy sister Hannah who insisted on having her's out before she went back to school. The same attractive feather thingy appears in both blips, for those of you interested in the detail!

Today was Up Helly Aa, and the weather is still shocking. I just couldn't bear the thought of standing in the wind and rain to watch 1,000ish men in skirts throwing firey sticks around the place. Bah humbug.
