The Connal Building
I always knew there was a building in Glasgow that was named after distant ancestors of Taximan who had been shipping merchants. We were told this by John Connal from Australia who was doing the family tree thing and had contacted us (there are very few who spell Connal this way).
Went in to town with my wee dad as he had a job to do with a watch repairer man who was in the building! Have walked and driven past it a million times now I know where sit is!
The were famous for their coat of arms which had a bee in it and the tiles up the side of the stairs depict the bee the shipping and I have no idea what the wide boar is for? Will have to email the pictures to John Connal in Sydney Australia for more information
