Return of a lost friend

About 5 months ago I lost this earring. I took my lid off after a ride home and thought I had lost it on the driveway.

Some time was spent on my hands and knees with magnifying glass but no luck.

Then today I walked into the ladies at work and it was there on the windowsill.

It has been trodden on but that can be fixed.
