Forest of River She-Oak

Went for a bush walk this morning along the Pine Rivers, North of Brisbane and came across this forest of She-Oak (Casuarina Cunninghamiana). The incoming tide almost touches floor of the boardwalk. In the photo, the water level is just hidden in the grass.

I would like to return on the weekend to see how high the tides would be as Cairns (1700km North) is expecting a tropical cyclone on Friday Jan 31. Brisbane is expected to have very wet weather for 1.5 week.
