Smooth

Today’s challenge topic is smooth. This picture shows the smooth surface of the water outside of our house and further along the lane. Beneath this smooth surface are a number of very large and very deep potholes in the road, so that anyone unaware of this (in particular delivery drivers) tends to take the road much too fast and bottom their exhaust, sump and chassis on this road. Our council deny that there are any potholes or puddles in this road!!!

Today my back is quite bad, but this is once again because I have been doing things, if I sit in a chair and do nothing, my back causes me no problems whatsoever. However, although the hospital might appreciate my doing nothing as it permits them to do likewise, I do not feel that I can go through the rest of my life without doing anything; Mrs GOG agues with this.
