Fantastic Fern!

Spoiled for choice today - a visit to the Glasgow Botanic Gardens yielded many blip opportunities. I chose this unfurling, gigantic Mexican fern - Cyathea Princeps which grows to a height of 18 metres. The hairs on the fern were quite amazing both to look at and touch. The tree fern collection was planted in the 1880's.
