Ducks

I was able to go into school a bit later this morning, so I braved the dreary weather to nip down to the duck pond. I'm pleased to report that the pond is now looking healthily full - even brimming.

The ducks, however, were not being cooperative. The steady stream of cars, people and students on their way to the local college had disturbed them and so they voiced their displeasure loudly and took off for the back of the pond. The wall in this photo is the retaining wall which backs onto someone's garden...
