In Flood

Off to see the snowdrops at Burlingham churchyard and fatally I had to cross Eckington Bridge again...and ...then....re-cross it to get to park the car for what was going to be a quick shot of the floods; or two or three and then you start adding the noughts. LOL!

River Avon still powering down in full spate under the arches of the bridge and the picnic tables and car park flooded - a bit muddy too as you can imagine! We seemed to be the obvious source of interest after I parked up: Tilly looking out of the car window with the lampshade on, me with my camera wading through the grot on the river bank splashing in mud and dodging waves of drizzle. Soooo causing a lot of entertainment for random people sitting eating their lunchtime sandwiches in their cars. Note that please ...'in their cars', not venturing out. HA!!! Not, that they could have used the picnic tables at any point.
