Friends

Despite it being my Dads birthday today, I was the one recieving presents. My lovely friend Lucy sent me these gorgeous gifts. I shall look forward to making a ring for each of the girls. The chocolate got consumed straight away. Such a thoughtful gift, but thats just Lucy. I met her on our Oncology ward about 2 years ago, and she made me feel very welcome. We don't meet up often, despite living about 3 miles from each other. But like all the Oncology mums I have become friends with, they are an inspiration.

Was due to meet up with Mum and Dad today to celebrate Dads birthday, but sadly they both are feeling unwell with colds so they stayed at home. Happy Birthday Dad!
