Last week I had a little windfall in the shape of quite a useful cheque received from the Local Council of a house I lived in some years ago - it was due to a change in Band calculations from years before and the Council assurred me I was entitled to it?? (never look a gift horse in the mouth)
Today we have had to have a new cooker as the door fell off the old one and the repair estimate didn't quite add up to having a brand new one??
"The Lord Giveth and the Lord taketh away....." (I saw these Snowdrops in our local churchyard)!!


Tomorrow I am having to be Sworn in front of a Notary Public to documents I witnessed a few days ago as they are to do with Bahamian law. I think I might wear a skirt!!
