Doing it!

So, after Sunday's extreme laziness, and Monday's lamentations over the waste of a day I have, after detailed consideration, decided that I'm going to do one thing, something, every evening.

Yesterday I made a card for my colleague Lucie, who's just had a little boy called Stuart Anthony - quite unusual names these days but I think maybe they're his grandfathers' names, which is such a lovely thing to do. At least they're meaningful, not a piece of fruit or every member of the local cricket team. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo, d'oh, so you'll just have to take my word for it...

And this is tonight's offering - a sort of spag bol without the spag and with other stuff chucked in for good measure. Very tasty it is too :-)

I've also seen two decorators, both of whom looked at me like I was slightly mad when I mentioned lining paper. Well that was what the other chap said, but apparently not. So either he was just wanting to do a really really thorough job, or was trying to con an extra day's work out of me. Pfft, you just can't trust anyone these days!
