What should have been an early blip and time to thank everyone for the accolades for yesterday's photo has turned into a last minute rush job again.

I've kept the chickens in today, letting them out only to have a peck around for an hour before dark. Wrong time. The fox has been round and what hasn't been killed I'm unsure will survive. I've just finished recovering the dead and dying bodies and have put anything alive in a shed away from their hen house.

Too late will let you know tomorrow the sum total of the damage.
