Finding the way on a rainy day

A day of unmitigated rain.
Raining when I got up.
Raining when I left to walk to the tube.
Raining when I came out of the tube to walk to work.
Raining when I went out to met Mum briefly at lunch time.
Raining when I walked to Holborn to catch the tube - Russell Square a sea of mud and puddles and flooded paths.
Raining when I came out of the tube at Stratford where I was teaching this evening.
Raining when I had finished teaching and left to walk back to the tube.
Raining when I came out of the tube to walk home.

Just checked the forecast and it looks like we can expect more of the same tomorrow.
I wonder if Noah will become a popular boy's name this year?
Will colleges introduce NVQs in ark building?
Will the price of swimming lessons go up?
