Fox Run

If you look carefully at the bottom of the photograph you might just make out a line of trodden grass. No frost has killed the grass this year so you can see where the fox has been making his way across the front of the house. The line of advance brings him out at the bins but so far he has not knocked them over- most of out food waste is put in the recycling bin.

I remember on the farm that the cows followed the same route across the field when they were called in for milking thus creating a hardened dirt track where no grass grew.
