Victoria Park Gate Glasgow

I was admiring the gates on Victoria Park, I don't know if they were renovated recently but they do look rather splendid with the red paint and gold leaf. (The sceptic in me is now wondering if some event connected to the Commonwealth Games will be taking place here) The park was named Victoria Park in the year of Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee in 1887
