The Promised Land

A visit to my new place of business today. At long last, a new lab has been promised since I started work 13 years ago.

It is an amazing building. The accommodation is first class. We don't have much more room than we have now, disappointingly, but it is all shiny brand new and of a high spec.

We even have a canteen again. They make awesome macaroni. This almost makes up for the fact that it is in the middle of nowhere and is a 60 mile round trip for me every day!!
