Rush hour home

I'm a fair-weather cyclist, so the express bus, the "X", is welcome on rainy days. It takes me from the centre of London straight to the first stop - my home, which is about 40 minutes (on a good day) through South London. Hooray for the X.

Unfortunately, there's not always a seat and I stood by the door today. I was impressed the large number of cyclists whizzing by the bus and took a quick shot when we all stopped at a junction. I long for the fairer days when it will be a joy to pedal on the bicycle. It takes me the same time as the bus, although I don't cycle on the bus route. This road is quicker, but I prefer the quieter ways.
