I hurried over to Chinatown on my lunch break in hopes of inspiration, but found it difficult to make visual order in the chaos: it's nearly New Year's after all and things are absolutely bustling!
So instead you get yet another view of midtown (too cold to do a portrait).
Yesterday caught a look at the work of 5 photographers at the Open Society Moving Walls 21 show (Shannon Jensen on Sudanese refugees, Mark Leong on Hong Kong's post-handover transition, Diana Markosian on young Chechnyan women, Nikos Pilos on Greece post-financial crisis, and Joao Pina on the aftermath of Operation Condor). Some very interesting storytelling.
