The Last Port of Call

Amidst the many bright, shining yachts and cruisers basking in the sunshine in the Marina, I was surprised to come upon this boat, long abandoned, submerged and tethered still to its berth.
It was such a sad sight to see and I wanted to give it a new purpose for being there even if only by photographing it and sharing the image.
Though in a state of decay it had a unique beauty and had about it a certain dignity.
