The jewellery box

Miserable weather and a busy day means finding something indoors to photograph. This little jewellery box was given to me by a friend (who I met at university) many years ago as a birthday present. She was living in Singapore at the time and it is made from silk, probably bought from one of the amazing markets there. It is quite small and can barely hold all my trinkets and jewellery, but it is special to me as sadly she died from cancer two years ago and so it has much significance to me.

Now to crack on with the ironing before I meet another friend from university for a late lunch. At least I can justify going out to lunch if I have done all the ironing, right?
