All set up and ready...
Last night was my last shift with the Glasgow Winter Night Shelter. I was team leader (under supervision) and the night went as smoothly as can be expected. Plenty of men and a women in for a safe and warm night's sleep. So many stories, over the past three weeks. So much to pray for as my eyes have really been opened to life on the margins. We really need to do something more as a country, but as Christians we seek to do what we can to reflect the love of God into the darkness. A verse has stuck with me through these three weeks:
The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it.
John 1:5
