'Ye'll have had yer tea' (in a Scottish accent)
If you are familiar with 'The doings of Hamish and Dougal' you'll know that the theme of this blip is 'The big hoos' where the Laird lives in their comedy 'You'll have had ye tea'. The Laird is played by comedian and raconteur Jeremy Hardy. The long suffering butt of many of the jokes is their housekeeper Mrs McNulty played by Alison Steadman. Hamish and Dougal themselves are played by Graeme Garden and Barry Cryer.
With a cast like that how could it not be an hilarious 15 minutes, brilliant.
And - its on tonight!
This 'Big Hoos' is Hillfield House in the much diminished grounds compared to what they were. It's still a nice park though for taking Jonty for a walk while Marlane is at the dentist.
